So after a truly terrible week we decided it would be nice to get out and visit our new friends, also known as gourmet burger kitchen! My oh my, their portions were as big as our heads and we were spoilt for choice with all the good food and vegetarian options (good on you, GBK!) We had found heaven! And despite our best efforts, we struggled to finish the delicious food. I will admit I was tempted to ask for a doggy bag but managed to keep that slither of dignity.
On our way home, 7 police cars and a riot-control van raced by with sirens blaring. A somewhat bittersweet end to the day, but we’re tucked away safely for now. And oh! You know how we mentioned some “exciting news”? Let’s just say that we’re getting very close to spilling the beans. But for now, it begins with an “h” and the process is about halfway through, just a little longer until it’s all officially in writing and we can share!
