The Birthday Girl!

Tomorrow, August the 8th, is the day that 19 years ago the best part of my life came into this world. Kitty breathed her first gulps of air and went on to develop into one amazing young woman that I love spending every minute with.
In celebration, we’re throwing a party with a few relatives tomorrow. Kitty’s grandparents, aunt, cousin, sister, mother, father and I will gather around the table and proceed to shove random innanimate edible objects down our gobs before letting Kitty blow out her candles and slicing up the cake. Hopefully there will be fun to be had by all, and if the weather keeps up from today, the sun should be out to boot to keep up all cheery!
Second thoughts, that shouldn’t be a problem rain, hail or shine, as we have wine and lots of it!
I’ve bought her the daintiest little gift ever, and I very much hope she’ll like it. It at present is still a secret, but come a few hours and she’ll be parading around the house with it to show everybody. I’m pretty sure I picked the right colour and style. Only time will tell! Don’t worry, I’ll post pictures for all to see so you will too know what it is before long.
