Oh France!

June 5th, 2009

Nay and I have been to France and back, and it was super-duper nice, even if it was kind of cold and windy compared to home! We got heaps of shots, drank coke and even went to hang on a beach; which we pretty much had all to ourselves.

Now we’re back in the UK which has turned cold and windy too! We seem to have brought the weather back with us. I hope it warms up again for the weekend, we were just getting used to 3o degrees of bliss!

This Sunday we’re off out of London for a few hours in the afternoon for my little puppy photoshoot. I’m so darn excited. I love puppies, I love photography, but putting them together just screams trouble to me! I think we’ll be able to control them and I’m so determined to get some great shots in. I think we may smuggle one of them home for us!

We’ve been very slowly moving things out of our flat for when we get to July and take the final things. I think we’re both dying to get out of there away from our bizarre land-lady, but it’ll be sad to say goodbye to our first little place together. I guess it’s only up from here then!?

Our tadpoles that we saved back in March have got pretty funny looking legs poking out of their fat bodies. We had to clean them out a few weeks back which was awful. We had to fish out about 200 dead bodies which was disgusting and really sad. So now all the survivors are manic and need constant food; they’re so fat I’m scared they’ll explode.

We have come to the conclusion that this plane is a hoax. We (well, me mainly) believe that the makers of Lost have gone and started a real life version to keep all the fans happy until the beginning of Season 6. So the people of that flight are all alive and well on an island with polar bears, boars and dharma folk. We are all made to believe they are dead until a few months later when 6 of them rock up (which we shall call the French Air 6) and they’ll spend 3 miserable years drinking themselves to death trying to figure out why they’re not happy.

Mr Clean

Then a man who looks too much like Mr Clean (pictured above) will rock up and tell them that they all have to go back to save the island and their friends. Well, I guess that is what I wish to believe as I don’t want to believe everyone is dead. It is such a mystery that part of me still hopes that someone is still alive out there to tell us all what happened. On a serious note, our hearts and prayers go out to the friends and families of the victims.

Nathan’s birthday is in 2 weeks time and I’m still wondering what on Earth to do. I know he wants to go ice skating but I want to be able to give him a surprise too! I thought of driving to Wales for the day, but I think that is a bit too ambitious seeing as it is a good 5 hours away, plus neither of us speak a word of Welsh. I’ll have to think of something a bit nearer and more fun to do then!

On that note, I think it is time to go grab some grub and then I have a whole pile of clothes to go and sort out and put into storage. Boring.

Peace out!
