Yesterday was by far the most special, amazing, fun and incredible Valentine’s Day of all time! Well, considering it was our first one actually to celebrate in the same country since we’ve been together, every second of it was breath taking! Oh how we’d longed for our first hand in hand.
We woke up and exchanged our surprise presents. I gave Nathan a book he’d really wanted (which will most probably now make him a millionaire and I’ll be left stumped as to how a book can hold so much power), and I also hand made a book for him about how special he is to me. I’d spent about 3 weeks making this book for him which I was really proud of, and he seemed to love both of them, so that really made my day! He then handed me a heart shaped box and when I opened it, inside lay a little deer staring up at me! She was so beautiful and I was so over the moon that I had my very own little deer! Gosh he is a good listener and hint-taker, I’m so lucky! Anyway, I called her Coco.

We went out for breakfast and sat in the coffee shop and had little sips of our steaming hot chocolate with whipped cream swirled to the ceiling. Then we received a heart shaped balloon in the street. Some company was trying to promote itself by handing out balloons to everyone passing by. The whole sky was filled with floating hearts and all you could see down the street were millions of these balloons, it was hilarious!
The doorbell rang and upon opening it, in came a HUGE cardboard box with a little window in the lid. As I peered inside, I saw the most beautiful bouquet of roses inside. 12 gorgeous roses which now proudly stand next to our telly. I can’t stop looking at them. They are so perky and red with gorgeous red berries and I can’t stop smelling them either. I just felt like an utter princess.

We went to see the film, “He’s Just Not That Into You” which was good, but not probably something to see on Valentine’s Day. It had a happy and sad ending and was a very emotional movie (neither of us cried though!) Afterwards, we went and got a takeaway and snuggled in bed and ate pizzas and fell asleep on top of one another. It was so cute.
I wish we could go back to tomorrow, but I don’t really see why there should be a designated day for people to love one another on. I personally feel everyday should feel like Valentine’s Day. My life usually does, but we really went all out yesterday. Everything was perfect and magical beyond all belief. [:

How did everyone else celebrate? We’d love to hear what others do!
