Saturday Fun.

Yesterday we saw the warmest day we’ve seen in a very, very long time. The usual temperature for this time of year is around 5 degrees, but lately it’s been in the minus range. But we woke up to a treat yesterday morning to the sunshine on our bed and 13 degrees filling the air. 13 degrees is usually freezing, but it seemed so warm and we just couldn’t hold off not spending a day outside.
So we first took our bikes to the local park and rode around the lake. It was heaving! Everyone was out and about in the Sun and it was a great feeling to be so warm. We then got back and decided to run up to the Grandparent’s house to use their tennis court to have a bit of a “rally” of sorts. We got back absolutely pooped from all the exercise and fresh air, it was the most we’ve had in a long time, and it was just so nice not to be shivering anymore!
As for today, it’s warmish but with no Sun which is quite sad, but tomorrow is supposed to be a sunny day for us, so fingers crossed! [:
