Oh Spring.
January 27th, 2009

I love it when the Sun soaks through our yellow curtains in the morning and fills the room with a sepia tone. It always feels magical to wake up in that room. And soon enough it’ll be Spring and the clocks will change, and it’ll get warmer and warmer until all the leaves are back again. [:
I was finally bothered to add two photos we took in Paris last December. It is scary to think that it was only about 5 weeks ago that we were there, and here we are about to hit February. Time sure flies, doesn’t it?!

Things are going nicely. Nay’s busy working away on Finity Player which is taking an amazing shape. Every time I look at it, I can’t express to him how dumbfounded I am that he made it all from scratch. He also got Windows 7 today which is pretty exciting. I can’t wait to get a new laptop so I can have a play too, but that is for another day.
Nathan’s also been looking after me really well as I have very swollen glands. The doctor said it may be glandular fever, but unless I consented to a blood test we wouldn’t know. So I chose that I’d rather not know, I hate needles anywhere near me. I’d only do it if it were absolutely vital. Eek.
I’m trying to plan a short holiday for us over Easter some time. I think it’d be brilliant for us to get away again. After Paris, I think it’ll be seriously easy for us to become addicted to holidays. I’m thinking of Spain or somewhere relatively close, or perhaps Italy.. or Barbados would be amazing! We’ll see what comes up.
I feel really artsy and annoyed at University. I wish I was finished with it. I’m fed up with being told I’m not pushing my photography enough. I know that if they analysed the World’s greatest artist, they’d still trash them. I wish I could decorate a place for us, lay down some nice floorboards with fancy rugs. I wish I could drill holes in the walls to hang canvases and I wish I could rip down the nasty wallpaper. As much as I love the flat, I’d love our own little place to make our little home. It doesn’t have to be big and fancy with 11 bedrooms and 200 acres overlooking the riverside. It could be an attic flat, but as long as it was our’s, it’d be fantastic to design together. By this Christmas, I really would love to be considering somewhere we could live and not worry about messing up because of angry landlords. Rant over.
Anyway, until next time then!
