3 Happy Reasons.

December 28th, 2008

christmas-day-2008-026

I am happy because:

1) We had the most amazing holiday in Paris.
2) We came back to celebrate a truly magical Christmas together.
3) The Australian is not going back, I repeat, the Australian is staying! <3

Well, we’re not completely certain on number 3 right now, but we’ll know by this time tomorrow! I’m so excited! This’ll make a perfect start to a New Year.

We’ll be back soon with a new layout and some photos from our little adventures.

Until next time, then!

Quiet.

December 16th, 2008

frosty-day

Everything is so quiet and still right now that I never want it to end.

Christmas is 9 days away, the lights are all out and glowing, the wind is ice-cold and the puddles have had their first ice. We’re off to Paris in a few hours time which is really exciting and we haven’t even started packing yet. But as I like to say, if it weren’t for last minute, nothing would ever get done!

The above photo is one I took years back and only just found right now and decided it looked suitable for today’s entry. [:

Anyway, there’s nothing much more to report on apart from my New Order album has just finished downloading. Yippee!

I think Nay and I are planning on changing the look of this blog entirely, it’s just a matter of finding the time now.

Until next time then!

Why Is The Rum Gone?

December 8th, 2008

I’ve been playfully trying to drive Nathan biserk with this song (and I think it’s slowly working!)

Can’t Believe Its December!

December 8th, 2008

Wow, isn’t it hard to believe that December’s come already!? Well, maybe not, but it feels like the last time I checked, it was June! Another year has nearly gone by and 2009 is just around the corner, who knows what it’ll bring?

We’re off to Paris in a few days which’ll be brilliant. We both really need a break. Nathan’s been working on several projects all at the same time, but he’s the most fantastic multi-tasker I’ve ever met, yet another thing I admire him for. He also has the most sore second-degree burns up his arm from a couple of days ago, so it’s going to be a good break for him to unwind and relax. I on the other hand have been doing quite a bit of photography which has been fun. Autumn term at Uni is over come the 12th where I can hand in my projects. My most recent has been challenging, called, “Making My Mark” where I have to change the narrative of my photographs. I’ve put some of my images below from it. [:

It’s pretty chilly here, it hits -5 nightly which is really quite refreshing to wake up to. There is frost everywhere and all the puddles are iced over, we’re all just waiting for the snow! I really hope it does snow this December, it’d make such a great ending to a great year. But even if it doesn’t, having ice and frost will suffice enough!

Anyway, I’m off for now, so will blog again soon!

Until next time! [:
