Koala’s ‘N Uggs!

July 15th, 2008

They’re going to make Uggs from Koala’s? Oh shit...

Yay! Tomorrow we’re off to Featherdale wildlife park to check out the Australian wildlife, and chill with the natives for a while. Never know, we might catch our neighbours there… (more on that in a tick)

So today was so totally awesome! We bought Ugg boots, which is astounding, considering we got out of bed way too late because we woke up and ate pizza in the middle of the night. If you ever want a way to feel full when you wake up, you have our personal assurance that is IT!

So yes, regarding neighbours, they’re moving in next door. Both Kitty and I reckon the lady looks like a koala…and the man…well, he just looks like a good ‘ol thug. He quite literally has no hair, except for some poor excuse for follicles on the back, and some really rough looking curly ginger sideburns. Yeah, I know, weird with a capital ‘W’.

Oh god, I hope they don’t know how to use the internet. Kitty just alerted me to the possibility that serial killer man may be able to find this post, and then order his koala friend to our room to munch up anything made from trees, which could quite possibly be our entire room, considering how fire friendly we are in this joint. Yay for open flames. More yay for open flames near koala lady and serial killer’s house.

Well, yeah, what else to say? If you weren’t scared before, you definitley are now!

Oh well, I’m off to bed with my darling angel, so keep on truckin’. (Including you serial killer man…I don’t know what kind of cereal serial you kill, but by the lack of hair, I’m guessing it’s something plain like rice bubbles…)

Happy Friday.

July 11th, 2008

Happy Friday everyone! Another week down and a nice weekend ahead to relax.

We picked up a magazine at the shops today which really made us want to put our creative caps on and get outside in the evening sun and just snap heaps of photos. We also ate banana bread which was really nice. But anyway, here is what some of them turned out like.

We thought our new technique was pretty cool. Anyway, we want to start submitting photographs for this particular magazine, so we shall see where that road takes us.

As for now then, there’s potato and leek soup cooking and we’re pretty hungry. So until next time!

Sunny Day.

July 10th, 2008

Just posting a little polaroid today from Nathan’s birthday. It was such a gloriously sunny day and we had so much fun by the river. Today is lovely and sunny too, a bit of a nip in the air, but nothing too cold! Found some more polaroids from the other day which shall make an appearance rather soon! As for now, I’m off to look for more caramel mudcake recipes.

PS: How cute are these folders from Fredflare ?
